Pyracantha crenulata (D. Don) M. Roem.
Habit: Plant < 6 m, erect, rusty-hairy, +- glabrous in age. Leaf: 20--50 mm, generally narrow-oblong-elliptic, +- hairy abaxially, glabrous in age, not glaucous, tip generally acute, teeth many. Inflorescence: +- many-flowered, sparsely hairy to glabrous. Fruit: 5--8 mm wide, bright red, glabrous.
Ecology: Canyon slopes, disturbed ground; Elevation: < 500 m. Bioregional Distribution: SnFrB, SnBr; Distribution Outside California: native to Asia. Flowering Time: Feb--Jun
