Trichostema ruygtii H. Lewis
Habit: Annual < 5 dm. Stem: hairs short, curved, or long, spreading, some glandular. Leaf: petiole 0 or indistinct; blade 1--4 cm, length 3 × width, lanceolate, lateral veins prominent near base. Flower: calyx lobes <= tube, uppermost generally narrower; corolla tube 5--7.5 mm, curved upward and sharply recurved near throat, exserted, lower lip 2--4.5 mm; stamens 5--9 mm.
Ecology: Open areas, generally thin clay soils, possibly seasonally saturated; Elevation: 30--600 m. Bioregional Distribution: s NCoRO/NCoRI (Napa Co.). Flowering Time: Jun--Oct
