Leptosiphon serrulatus (Greene) J.M. Porter & L.A. Johnson
Habit: Annual. Stem: 5--18 cm, puberulent. Leaf: lobes 4--10 mm, linear, hairy. Inflorescence: head. Flower: calyx 5--7 mm, sparsely hairy, membrane < 1/2 calyx, much narrower than lobes; corolla funnel-shaped, tube 7--8 mm, white below, dark purple at transition to throat, throat 4--6 mm, yellow, lobes 5--7 mm, white; stamens included.
Ecology: Openings in woodland, chaparral; Elevation: 300--1300 m. Bioregional Distribution: s SN. Flowering Time: Apr--May
