Mimulus aurantiacus Curtis var. aurantiacus
Leaf: narrowly elliptic to linear, entire to serrate, edges generally rolled under; lower surface pale and puberulent to densely hairy, at least some hairs branched to stellate. Inflorescence: flower 2--4 per node; pedicel 5--27 mm. Flower: calyx 18--36 mm, tube glabrous, distally appressed to corolla tube; corolla +- yellow-orange to orange (cream), tube-throat 26--38 mm, lobes entire to 2-lobed distally; anthers included.
Ecology: Disturbed areas, coastal cliffs, canyon sides; Elevation: < 800 m. Bioregional Distribution: NW, CW, n&c SNF; Distribution Outside California: Baja California (Cedros Island). Flowering Time: Mar--Jun
