Allium siskiyouense Traub
Habit: Bulb 8--20 mm, ovoid; outer coat sculpture 0 or cells +- square, in 2--3 rows basally; inner coats generally pink to red. Stem: 3--8 cm. Leaf: 2, +- 2 × stem, flat, sickle-shaped. Inflorescence: flowers 10--35; pedicels 5--16 mm. Flower: 8--11 mm; perianth parts ascending to +- erect, widely lanceolate to ovate, obtuse, entire or dentate near tip, pink, midveins often darker; ovary crests 3, minute, 2-lobed, central. Chromosomes: n=7.
Ecology: Rocky slopes including serpentine; Elevation: 900--2500 m. Bioregional Distribution: KR, NCoR; Distribution Outside California: southwestern Oregon. Flowering Time: Apr--Jun
