Leaf: basal 1.5--5.2 cm, 0.7--2 cm wide, elliptic to very narrowly elliptic, entire (or with 3 wide, rounded teeth distally), base obtuse to attenuate, tip acute to rounded. Inflorescence: bract lobes 3, middle >> lateral.
Ecology: Moist, seepy slopes; Elevation: 1200--3600 m. Bioregional Distribution: n SNH (e slope), MP, n SNE, W&I; Distribution Outside California: to British Columbia, North Dakota. Flowering Time: Mar--Jun
