Habit: Plant 4--6(10) dm. Stem: (1.5)2--3 dm, tomentose. Leaf: blades 2.5--3.5(6) cm, 1.5--2(4) cm wide, tomentose. Inflorescence: 2--15 cm wide; involucres (3)3.5--4(5) mm. Flower: 2--2.5 mm. Fruit: 2--2.5 mm.
Ecology: Gravel; Elevation: < 100 m. Bioregional Distribution: s ChI (Santa Barbara Island). Flowering Time: May--Oct
