Trichostema micranthum A. Gray
Habit: Annual < 3 dm. Stem: hairs short, curled to appressed, some glandular. Leaf: petiole indistinct or < 5 mm; blade 2--4.5 cm, narrowly elliptic. Flower: calyx lobes < 2 × tube, widest at base, acute, +- equal; corolla tube 1--2 mm, curved gradually upward, included, lower lip 1.5--2 mm; stamens 2--3 mm, +- included to +- exserted, +- arched to +- straight. Chromosomes: 2n=14.
Ecology: Dry margins of lakes, meadows, streams; Elevation: 1500--2500 m. Bioregional Distribution: WTR, SnBr; Distribution Outside California: Arizona, Baja California. Flowering Time: Jul--Sep
