Thelypodium stenopetalum S. Watson
Habit: Biennial, glaucous; hairs 0 except on petiole. Stem: 3--9 dm, simple or branched distally. Leaf: basal blade 1--4(6) cm, entire (wavy), withered by fruit time, petiole ciliate; mid-cauline sessile, sagittate to clasping, entire. Inflorescence: open, much expanded in fruit. Flower: petals 5--8(12) mm, 0.3--0.5(0.8) mm wide, linear, lavender (white), crinkled between blade and claw; paired filaments free. Fruit: 2.5--5(7.3) cm, cylindric, narrowed between seeds; stalk above receptacle 0.5--3.5(5) mm; style 1--2(2.5) mm; pedicel spreading, 4--8 mm, stout. Seed: 50--82, 1--15 mm, plump.
Ecology: Alkaline flats, lake shores; Elevation: 1900--2200 m. Bioregional Distribution: SnBr (Big Bear Valley). Flowering Time: May--Aug
