Thelypodium flexuosum B.L. Rob.
Habit: Perennial herb; caudex thick, woody; hairs 0. Stem: +- decumbent to erect, 2--6(8) dm, slender, generally wavy. Leaf: basal blade 4--17(20) cm, entire, persistent, petiole glabrous; mid-cauline sessile, sagittate to clasping. Inflorescence: open, much expanded in fruit. Flower: petals 6--10 mm, 1.5--3.5 mm wide, spoon-shaped, occasionally oblanceolate to obovate, lavender to white, not crinkled. Fruit: 1--2.5(4) cm, 0.8--1(1.5) mm wide, cylindric, narrowed between seeds; stalk above receptacle 0.5(1) mm, slender; style 1--2(3) mm; pedicel spreading, (2.5)4--9(16) mm, slender. Seed: 12--30, 1--1.5 mm, plump. Chromosomes: 2n=26.
Ecology: Canyons, slopes, among shrubs; Elevation: 900--1800 m. Bioregional Distribution: MP; Distribution Outside California: Oregon, Idaho, Nevada. Flowering Time: Apr--Jun
