Habit: Stem creeping to short-ascending, erect in flower, densely glandular-hairy toward base; rosettes 0. Leaf: 4--20(25) mm, linear to ovate, green or +- red, hairs 0 or sparse; tip obtuse to rounded. Inflorescence: 5--18(30) cm, 15--50-flowered. Flower: sepals (0.5)1--1.5(2) mm, hairs 0 or sparse; petals spreading, 2--4.5 mm, lanceolate, +- acute, white (+- pink). Fruit: free, 3--4 mm, erect. Chromosomes: n=17.
Ecology: Disturbed sites; Elevation: generally < 1350 m. Bioregional Distribution: SN, CCo, SCo, SnBr, PR; Distribution Outside California: northern and western North America; native to Europe. Flowering Time: Jul--Sep
