Rorippa tenerrima Greene
Habit: Annual, glabrous. Stem: prostrate to decumbent, base many-branched distally, 0.7--3.5(4) dm. Leaf: basal not rosetted, early-deciduous; proximal, mid-cauline pinnately lobed, 2--9(11) cm, oblong to oblanceolate or lanceolate, short-petioled, base not lobed; lateral lobes linear to oblong, ovate, or obovate, entire to dentate or wavy; distal sessile, base not lobed. Inflorescence: elongated. Flower: sepals ascending, 0.7--1.3 mm, oblong; petals 0.5--0.8 mm, 0.1--0.3 mm wide, oblong to oblanceolate or spoon-shaped. Fruit: silique or silicle, 3--7(9) mm, (0.8)1--1.7(2) mm wide, lanceolate to narrowly ovoid or lance-oblong, curved upward, middle generally +- constricted; valves papillate; style (0.2)0.5--1 mm; pedicel ascending to spreading, (1)1.5--3.2(4.2) mm, slender, straight. Seed: 20--80, 0.5--0.7 mm, broadly reniform.
Ecology: Marshes, wet meadows, streambanks; Elevation: < 1600 m. Bioregional Distribution: PR; Distribution Outside California: to British Columbia, Colorado, Texas, Mexico. Flowering Time: Jun--Oct
