Rorippa subumbellata Rollins
Habit: Perennial herb, rhizomed, glabrous or wavy-hairy. Stem: decumbent, many-branched distally, 0.5--2.5(3) dm. Leaf: basal not rosetted, early-deciduous; mid-cauline +- pinnately lobed to wavy, 1--3.2 cm, broadly oblanceolate to oblong, sessile to short-petioled, base not or minutely lobed; surfaces hairy or glabrous adaxially; lateral lobes oblong to ovate, generally entire. Inflorescence: +- umbel-like, congested. Flower: sepals erect, 2--3 mm, oblong or ovate, persistent; petals 2.5--3.5 mm, 1--1.7 mm wide, spoon-shaped to oblanceolate. Fruit: silicle, 3--5.5 mm, 2--3.5 mm wide, +- spheric to broadly oblong; valves glabrous; style 0.8--1.5 mm; pedicel erect to ascending, 3--7(9) mm, slender, straight, hairy. Seed: 30--44, +- angled, 0.8--1.1 mm.
Ecology: Sandy lake margins; Elevation: 1800--2500 m. Bioregional Distribution: n SNH (Lake Tahoe Basin); Distribution Outside California: western Nevada. Flowering Time: Jun--Sep
