Plagiobothrys undulatus (Piper) I.M. Johnst. NATIVE Habit: Annual, sparse-short-strigose. Stem: erect turning decumbent, 1--4+ dm. Leaf: cauline, lower 2--6 cm. Inflorescence: bracts below middle, sparse; pedicels generally 0--1 mm. Flower: calyx 2--3 mm; corolla limb 1.5--2 mm diam, appendages pale yellow. Fruit: nutlet 0.8--1.6 mm, ovate to lance-ovate, +- dull, brown; abaxial ridge, lateral ridges +- 0, cross-ribs +- many, low, +- curved, obscurely tubercled, interspaces narrower than or as wide as cross-ribs; adaxial ridge +- 75% fruit length; scar near base, linear, in groove below ridge. Ecology: Wet places, vernal pools; Elevation: < 400 m. Bioregional Distribution: NCo, NCoRO, s ScV, CW (exc SCoRI), SCo, WTR, PR.
