Plagiobothrys chorisianus (Cham.) I.M. Johnst.
Habit: Annual, sparse-short-strigose. Stem: prostrate to erect, 1--4 dm. Leaf: cauline, lower 3--7 cm. Inflorescence: bracts near base; pedicels generally 2--15(30) mm. Flower: calyx +- 4 mm; corolla limb 5--10 mm diam, appendages yellow. Fruit: nutlet 0.8--1.5 mm, ovate, +- dull, brown; abaxial ridge short, near tip, lateral ridges 0, cross-ribs few, irregular to +- 0, interspaces wider than cross-ribs, granular, tubercled or netted; adaxial ridge 60--75% fruit length; scar near base, linear, in groove.
Note: May intergrade with Plagiobothrys undulatus in SnFrB. Varieties intergrade.
