Peteria thompsoniae S. Watson
Habit: Roots spreading, tuberous. Stem: 2--10 dm. Leaf: leaflets 13--31, elliptic or obovate. Inflorescence: often glandular-hairy. Flower: calyx 7--11 mm, tube cylindric, generally dark-glandular-puberulent; corolla generally 15--20(25) mm; style or stigma hairs generally hidden by pollen. Fruit: 4--6 cm, glabrous.
Ecology: Sandy alluvial fans; Elevation: 800--1800 m. Bioregional Distribution: DMtns (California Valley, se Inyo Co.); Distribution Outside California: to Idaho, Utah, southwestern Colorado, Arizona. Flowering Time: May--Jun
