Penstemon personatus D.D. Keck
Habit: Perennial herb 30--50 mm, generally glabrous (except inflorescence), glaucous. Leaf: cauline; proximal-most scale-like; largest (at mid stem) short-petioled, blade 30--50 mm, ovate, (sub)entire. Inflorescence: hairy, glandular. Flower: calyx 5--6 mm, lobes widely lanceolate; corolla 20--25 mm, blue-purple, glabrous to glandular outside, densely hairy throughout inside, arched floor closing throat; anther sacs 1.2--1.4 mm, dehiscing full length, valves barely spreading; staminode included, coarsely hairy.
