Pelargonium inquinans (L.) L'Hér.
Habit: Subshrub, soft-woody. Stem: branched, 1--2 m; hairs soft. Leaf: blade generally 4--8 cm wide, round, +- succulent, green, deeply notched at base, generally irregularly 5--7-lobed, lobes crenate; hairs dense. Inflorescence: open; flowers 5--30. Flower: sepals 5--7 mm; petals 15--20 mm, +- equal, red.
Ecology: Disturbed sites; Elevation: < 300 m. Bioregional Distribution: SnFrB; Distribution Outside California: native to southern Africa. Flowering Time: All year
