Nemacladus secundiflorus G.T. Robbins
Habit: Erect, 2.5--12.5(16) cm, branched from base or generally 2 cm above. Stem: spreading to ascending; base dull, red-brown. Leaf: 2--6 mm, narrowly oblanceolate to +- spoon-shaped or elliptic, irregularly dentate, hairy, narrowed to wide petiole. Inflorescence: +- 1-sided or not; axis straight or zigzag; bracts 1--3 mm, widely lanceolate to ovate or oblong, erect or reflexed; pedicels 8--15 mm, +- 0.1 mm diam, spreading, +- S-curved, tip erect. Flower: inverted; hypanthium 0.5 mm; sepals +- 0.8--2.5 mm, linear or deltate, erect; corolla salverform, divided 1/3 to base, lobes all held on lower side of flower; filaments arched, 0.8--2.5 mm, tip +- curved, long-hairy, appendages wide pads attached on filaments near tip of ovary, cells slender, pointed, anthers 0.1--0.7 mm; ovary +- 1/4-inferior. Fruit: +- 2--2.5 mm, base, tip rounded. Seed: 0.3--0.5 mm, +- spheric, with zigzag ridges alternate clearly pitted rows.
