Monardella breweri A. Gray
Habit: Annual, erect, branched. Stem: 9--65 cm, short gray-hairy (puberulent) or glandular-hairy. Leaf: petioled, 15--60 mm, lanceolate to narrowly ovate, hairs short. Inflorescence: flower cluster 5--30 mm wide; bracts 5--15 mm, narrowly to widely ovate, acute to acuminate, occasionally stiff-pointed, short-hairy, green to scarious between veins, veins converging at tip, cross-veins present or 0. Flower: calyx 5--7.5 mm, 12--16-veined, +- glabrous to scabrous externally, except generally with cluster of spreading hairs at base of sinus, densely +- appressed-hairy on inside of lobes; corolla 12--15 mm, rose to purple, hairy, tube exserted, tips of upper lobes with prominent gland; stamens exserted.
