Mirabilis greenei S. Watson
Stem: ascending to erect, 4--8 dm, hairs 0 or sparse upward. Leaf: blade 3--10 cm, round to ovate, fleshy, hairs 0 or sparse, short. Inflorescence: involucre 1 per upper axil, peduncled, bell-shaped, +- glabrous, 6--16-flowered; bracts generally 5--6, 25--40 mm, > 1/2 fused. Flower: perianth 4--5 cm, narrowly funnel-shaped, magenta. Fruit: +- 7 mm, broadly club-shaped or elliptic, bluntly 5-angled, sparsely short-hairy.
Ecology: Dry slopes, flats; Elevation: < 1000 m. Bioregional Distribution: e KR, n&c NCoRI. Flowering Time: May--Jun
