Mimulus laciniatus A. Gray
Habit: Annual 3--38 cm, glabrous to sparsely hairy. Leaf: petiole 0--35 mm; blade 3--55 mm, oblanceolate to +- ovate, at least some +- pinnately, narrowly lobed or dissected. Inflorescence: raceme, generally > 5-flowered; bracts +- lanceolate to pinnately lobed, base long-tapered to petioled. Flower: cleistogamous or open; pedicel 10--45 mm; calyx 3--15 mm, asymmetrically swollen in fruit, +- glabrous, lobes unequal, lowest 2 upcurved in fruit; corolla yellow, tube-throat 4--15 mm; placentas axile. Fruit: 3--8 mm. Chromosomes: 2n=28.
Ecology: Seeps on granite outcrops; Elevation: > 900 m. Bioregional Distribution: n&c SNF, SNH, SnJV. Flowering Time: May--Aug
