Mimulus exiguus A. Gray
Habit: Annual 2--10 cm, minutely puberulent. Leaf: 2--8 mm, narrowly elliptic to narrowly ovate, not sheathing stem. Flower: pedicel 6--20 mm, ascending in fruit; calyx 2--3.5 mm, +- glabrous, lobes equal, 0.5--1 mm, acute, +- minutely puberulent; corolla lavender, tube-throat 2--3.5 mm; placentas axile. Fruit: 3--4 mm, +- spheric, > calyx.
Ecology: Gentle slopes, along small streams, runoff areas in clay soils; Elevation: 1800--2300 m. Bioregional Distribution: SnBr; Distribution Outside California: northern Baja California. Flowering Time: Jun--Jul
