Mimulus dentatus Benth.
Habit: Perennial herb, rhizomed, +- hairy. Stem: 15--40 cm, ascending. Leaf: petiole 0--12 mm; blade 15--70 mm, ovate, pinnately +- 5-veined. Flower: pedicel 20--50 mm; calyx 9--18 mm, +- glabrous, ribs +- hairy, lobes 2--7 mm, +- equal, +- ciliate; corolla yellow, tube-throat 28--40 mm, tube funnel-shaped, generally > 4 mm wide; placentas axile. Fruit: 8--9 mm.
Ecology: Coastal streambanks, generally in partial shade; Elevation: < 400 m. Bioregional Distribution: n NCo; Distribution Outside California: to Washington. Flowering Time: May--Aug
