Marah horrida (Congdon) Dunn
Habit: Herbage not glaucous. Flower: corolla generally > 8 mm wide, deeply cup-shaped, white. Fruit: 9--20 cm, oblong, rounded at both ends; prickles dense, stiff, unhooked. Seed: 6--16 (24), 26--32 mm, oblong or ovate, flat at 1 end.
Ecology: Shrubby open areas; Elevation: < 1000 m. Bioregional Distribution: c&s SNF, Teh. Flowering Time: Mar--Apr
