Leaf: many, in spreading rosette, < 8 cm, narrowly spoon-shaped, coarsely dentate, tapered to wide petiole, tip rounded Inflorescence: stems several, 10--20 cm, each with wide, open, generally many-flowered panicle; flowers well exserted from leaves; bracts among flowers, few below, minute, lance-ovate, gland-toothed; pedicel 3--8 mm. Flower: sepals 2, +- 1/2 × corolla, +- round, margin gland-toothed; petals 5--6, 5--6 mm, obovate, pale pink with 3(5) longitudinal veins, tip round; stamens 5--6; stigmas 3. Fruit: 2.5--3 mm. Seed: 1--3. +- 1 mm. Chromosomes: n=14.
Ecology: Metamorphic cliff faces, rocky outcrops, riparian scrub, woodland, conifer forest; Elevation: 900--1435 m. Bioregional Distribution: n SNH. Flowering Time: May--Jul
