Keckiella rothrockii (A. Gray) Straw
Habit: Plant wide, low, 3--6 dm. Stem: young stems green, densely short-hairy. Leaf: subopposite or in 3s, subsessile; main leaves 5--16 mm, (ob)lanceolate to widely obovate, entire or finely serrate towards tip. Inflorescence: spike-like, short-hairy; flowers +- sessile. Flower: calyx 4--7 mm, sometimes glandular, lobes lanceolate; corolla brown-yellow, pale yellow, or cream, purple- or red-brown-lined, tube + expanded throat 7--11 mm, upper lip 4--5 mm; anther sacs 0.8--1.1 mm, valves barely spreading at dehiscence; staminode glabrous near tip, +- included.
