Galium angustifolium A. Gray
Habit: Perennial herb, low, tufted or stems elongate, glabrous to hairy, at least base woody; dioecious. Stem: 6--100 cm. Leaf: in whorls of 4, +- strap-shaped, 3-veined. Inflorescence: panicle of few- to many-flowered clusters. Flower: corolla rotate, generally red to yellow. Fruit: nutlets, generally > pedicel; hairs dense, long, straight, spreading.
