Erythronium tuolumnense Applegate
Habit: Bulb 50--100 mm, ovoid, readily making sessile bulblets. Leaf: 15--35 cm, elliptic to ovate, entire to +- wavy-margined, green. Inflorescence: peduncle 15--35 cm, green to +- red; flowers 1--5. Flower: perianth parts 20--35 mm, +- narrowly ovate, yellow, inner with small sac-like folds at base; stamens 12--16 mm, filaments 0.4--0.6 mm wide at base, +- white, anthers yellow; style 8--10 mm, +- white, stigma entire or lobes < 1 mm.
Ecology: Open woodland, shady canyons; Elevation: 600--1000 m. Bioregional Distribution: c SNF (Tuolumne Co.). Flowering Time: Mar--Jun
