Erythronium oregonum Applegate
Habit: Bulb 35--50 mm, narrowly ovoid. Leaf: 10--22 cm, widely lanceolate to ovate, entire to +- wavy-margined, mottled brown or white. Inflorescence: peduncle 15--45 cm, green to +- red; flowers 1--3. Flower: perianth parts 30--45 mm, lanceolate to narrowly elliptic, white [to cream] with yellow base, red-banded or not, inner with sac-like folds at base; stamens 12--22 mm, filaments 1--3 mm wide, white, anthers cream to yellow; style 12--18 mm, white, stigma lobes 3--6 mm, slender, recurved.
Ecology: Openings in woodland; Elevation: 100--750 m. Bioregional Distribution: NCoRO; Distribution Outside California: southern Oregon to southwestern British Columbia. Flowering Time: Mar--May Note: California populations are geographically separate, may be a white form of Erythronium revolutum.
