Eriastrum filifolium (Nutt.) Wooton & Standl.
Habit: Annual. Stem: 4--40 cm. Leaf: 20--40 mm, +- glabrous to woolly, generally red-brown in age, entire or 3-lobed at base, lobes thread-like. Flower: corolla 7--9 mm, salverform to narrowly funnel-shaped, tube 4 mm, yellow, throat 1--1.5 mm, yellow, lobes 3 mm, blue; stamens attached in lower throat, 3.5 mm, equal, exserted. Seed: 3--5 per chamber.
Ecology: Dry slopes; Elevation: < 1700 m. Bioregional Distribution: SCoRO (nw Santa Barbara Co.), SW; Distribution Outside California: Baja California. Flowering Time: Apr--Jul
