Eriastrum abramsii (Elmer) H. Mason
Habit: Annual. Stem: 5--15 cm. Leaf: 10--45 mm; generally pinnate-3--7-lobed, lobes thread-like, woolly. Inflorescence: many-flowered, densely bracted, densely woolly. Flower: corolla 5--8 mm, salverform, tube 3--4 mm, white to +- yellow, throat 1--1.25 mm, lobes 2--3 mm, white or pale blue; stamens attached in upper tube or lower throat, included. Seed: 1 per chamber.
Ecology: Dry gentle slopes, flats, generally chaparral; Elevation: < 1200 m. Bioregional Distribution: NCoRI, SnFrB, SCoRI. Flowering Time: Apr--Jun
