Draba albertina Greene
Habit: Annual to short-lived perennial herb. Stem: (0.3)0.5--3(4.2) dm, branched distally, hairs simple proximally, fewer stalked 2-rayed, glabrous distally. Leaf: basal 3--28(35) mm, oblanceolate to obovate, entire to minutely dentate, ciliate, hairs 2--4-rayed abaxially, adaxially simple and forked or 0; cauline leaves (0)1--5. Inflorescence: 5--30(50)-flowered, elongated in fruit; axis glabrous; pedicels 3--14 mm. Flower: sepals 1.4--2.1 mm; petals 2--3 mm, 0.7--1.2 mm wide, yellow. Fruit: 4--12(15) mm, 1--2.1 mm wide, linear to narrowly elliptic or lanceolate, flat, not twisted, glabrous; style <= 0.1 mm. Seed: 20--44, 0.7--1 mm, oblong. Chromosomes: 2n=24.
Ecology: Moist meadows, streambanks, woodland, rocky knolls, disturbed areas; Elevation: 900--3700 m. Bioregional Distribution: CaRH, SNH, SnGb, MP, n SNE, W&I; Distribution Outside California: to Alaska, western Canada, Colorado, New Mexico. Flowering Time: Jun--Aug
