Collomia tenella A. Gray
Habit: Annual. Stem: erect, branches many, from near base to tip, spreading; internodes long-translucent-glandular-hairy. Leaf: linear to lanceolate, entire, glandular. Inflorescence: axillary and terminal clusters; flowers 1(2--3). Flower: calyx 3--4 mm, lobes short-triangular; corolla 4--6 mm, tube white, lobes white to lavender; filaments attached at 1 level, +- 1 mm, anthers, stigma exserted; pollen white. Seed: 1 per chamber.
Ecology: Dry open areas, often in sagebrush; Elevation: 1700--2600 m. Bioregional Distribution: Wrn; Distribution Outside California: to British Columbia, Wyoming, Utah. Flowering Time: May--Jul
