Collomia heterophylla Hook.
Habit: Annual. Stem: erect, branches generally several, subequal, spreading to ascending; internodes long-translucent-glandular-hairy. Leaf: lower 1--2 pinnate-lobed; upper lobed to entire, generally glandular-hairy. Inflorescence: clusters, terminal and axillary; flowers 7--25. Flower: calyx 5--8 mm, lobes narrowly lanceolate; corolla 10--14 mm, tube yellow to light pink, throat yellow to white, lobes light pink to white; filaments attached at > 1 level, < 1 mm, pollen white. Seed: 2--3 per chamber.
Ecology: Sandy to gravelly, open areas; Elevation: < 2000 m. Bioregional Distribution: KR, NCoR, CaR, SNF, n&s SNH, SnFrB, SCoR; Distribution Outside California: to British Columbia, Idaho. Flowering Time: Apr--Jun
