Camissonia integrifolia P.H. Raven
Habit: Slender, +- glabrous or sparsely minutely strigose (except inflorescence densely strigose, +- gray). Stem: decumbent or erect, generally < 30 cm, wiry, peeling. Leaf: generally 10--30 mm, linear, entire; teeth 0--2, small. Flower: hypanthium 1.5--2.5 mm; sepals 1.6--4 mm, remaining adherent in pairs; petals generally 2--4 mm, yellow fading +- red, basal spots 0--2. Fruit: 45--60 mm, 0.8--1.3 mm wide, +- swollen by seeds, straight or wavy, +- sessile. Seed: 1--1.2 mm. Chromosomes: 2n=28.
Ecology: Generally sagebrush slopes; Elevation: 700--1000 m. Bioregional Distribution: s SNF (Kern River area, Kern Co.). Flowering Time: May Note: Self-pollinated. Probably derived from Camissonia strigulosa; forms sterile hybrids where both occur.
