Calochortus tiburonensis A.J. Hill
Stem: 10--60 cm, generally branched. Leaf: basal 10--70 cm, flat, persistent; cauline 1--several, reduced upward. Inflorescence: flowers 2--7, erect. Flower: perianth bell-shaped; sepals 20--35 mm; petals +- = sepals, light yellow-green, flecked purple-brown, oblanceolate, ciliate to near tip, hairy, nectary depressed, bordered below by ciliate membrane, above by >= 2 rows of short hairs; filaments 10--12 mm, anthers 6--7 mm, lanceolate, dilated at base, short-tipped, red-brown. Fruit: erect, 20--30 mm, angled, tip acute. Seed: irregular, dark brown to black. Chromosomes: 2n=20.
Ecology: Serpentine grassland; Elevation: 50--150 m. Bioregional Distribution: n CCo (Ring Mtn, Marin Co.). Flowering Time: May--Jun
