Ecology: Lodgepole-pine forest, on Pinus contorta subsp. murrayana, rarely on associated Pinus; Elevation: 1300--2500 m. Bioregional Distribution: CaRH, SNH; Distribution Outside California: to British Columbia, Colorado. Flowering Time: Apr--May
