Angelica breweri A. Gray
Habit: Plant 1--2 m, generally hairy. Leaf: < 1 m diam, triangular-ovate, 2--3-ternate-pinnate; both surfaces generally glabrous; leaflets 6--10 cm, lanceolate, acuminate, serrate. Inflorescence: hairy; bracts, bractlets generally 0; rays 20--50, 2--10 cm; rays, pedicels webbed at base. Flower: petals, ovary hairy. Fruit: 8--12 mm, oblong to ovate. Chromosomes: 2n=66.
Ecology: Conifer forest; Elevation: 800--3000 m. Bioregional Distribution: CaRH, n&c SNH; Distribution Outside California: Nevada. Flowering Time: Jun--Aug
