Allium sanbornii Alph. Wood
Habit: Bulb 15--25 mm, ovoid; outer coat red-brown, sculpture 0 or cells +- square, in 2--3 rows basally; inner coats light brown or white. Stem: 18--60 cm. Leaf: 1, = stem, cylindric. Inflorescence: flowers generally 18--150; pedicels 5--22 mm. Flower: 4--9 mm; perianth parts erect, +- ovate, white to deep pink, inner > outer; stamens exserted; ovary crests 6, obvious, entire or notched.
