Allium neapolitanum Cirillo
Habit: Bulb 1--2 cm, +- spheric; outer coat +- crusted, sculpture obscure, cells +- square, walls thick. Stem: 20--60 cm, 3-angled, 2 angles slightly winged. Leaf: 2--3, <= stem, flat, linear to narrowly lanceolate. Inflorescence: flowers 10--25; pedicels 15--35 mm. Flower: 7--12 mm; perianth parts +- spreading, elliptic, obtuse, entire, white; ovary crest 0.
Ecology: Disturbed +- urban places; Elevation: < 100 m. Bioregional Distribution: NCo, NCoR, ScV, CCo, SnFrB, SCo; Distribution Outside California: native to Mediterranean. Flowering Time: Mar--Apr Note: Probably escaped from cultivation as ornamental.
