Allium hoffmanii Traub
Habit: Bulb 15--25 mm, ovoid; outer coat sculpture 0 or cells +- square, in 2--3 rows basally. Stem: 5--10 cm. Leaf: 1, 1--2 × stem, widely channeled. Inflorescence: flowers generally 10--40; pedicels 8--15 mm. Flower: 8--10 mm, +- narrowed above ovary; perianth parts erect, lance-linear, long-tapered, pink to purple, midveins obvious, +- green; stamens exserted, bumpy or warty near base; ovary crests 6, obscure, central. Chromosomes: n=7.
Ecology: Locally common. Serpentine outcrops; Elevation: 1100--1800 m. Bioregional Distribution: s KR, n NCoRH. Flowering Time: Jun--Jul
