Allium crispum Greene
Habit: Bulb 9--15 mm, ovoid to +- spheric; outer coat cells transversely elongate, in herringbone pattern. Stem: 15--35 cm. Leaf: 2--3, < stem, +- cylindric. Inflorescence: flowers generally 10--40; pedicels 10--35 mm. Flower: 8--13 mm; perianth parts rose-purple, +- erect, tips spreading, outer ovate, +- entire, inner with dentate, curled margins; ovary crests 3, minute, 2-lobed, central. Chromosomes: n=7.
Ecology: Clay slopes including serpentine; Elevation: < 800 m. Bioregional Distribution: s SnJV, CW. Flowering Time: Mar--Jun
