- We rested for the night at the Abila Ranch. The house is the old-fashioned Mexican adobe. We were served a very appetizing supper by the fair-haired blue-eyed Senora. The Senor was a fine-looking young fellow. Evidently neither were Mexicans in the least, but all Spanish. The little boys might have passed for young Americans. Venison was on the bill of fare.
