San Miguelito Rancho
c. 1200 ft. Near Jolon

Mr. Dutton of Dutton's Hotel
at Jolon says that in the old
days he once drove from San
Diego to Jolon, the journey
taking 23 days. It took a
long time in those years to get
from northern California to
Southern California.

- The ranch to the south of this
one is called Piojo Rancho
and belongs also to the Newhalls.

- We can see Pico Blanco from
the ranch house at San Miguelito, but not Santa
Lucia Peak which is
hidden behind a range
of hills
