Sidalcea calycosa -- in marsh just below Russell's Cream Factory, almost bordering salt-marsh. Umbellifer, fistulous and jointed leaves, with preceding and also near head of Abbott's Lagoon, southern arm, in a little mud flat in east side of road. 6_7 Point Reyes Penins. growing together by a little stream 1/2 mile below summit of divide, going out. Lasthenia macrantha, right at Point, in Gov'm't Reserv. [Government Reserve] Stellaria litoralis, plentiful in marshy places (Russell's Creamery). Potentilla Kelloggi, abundant toward sand-dunes on ocean side of Russell's Factory. Layia carnosa, with preced. Maianthemum bifolium, in marshy places between stations just noted. Also Habenaria maritima. Gentiana Oregana, at Claussen's, 1 1/2 mi. beyond P.O. [Post Office] Chicken Ranch Point. |
