Juan Acosta, a Mission Indian standing near, thought I was "poco loco"! --At Elsinore they tried to sell me two bananas for 10 cents at the rate of 25c per dozen. --coming into Riverside we found a moving haymow in the road. It being inexpedient to get around it, Duke and Ceylum moved up close and took advantage of the opportunity. |
