Belated Notes

for the bruised mule, skinned and bleeding. I left her loose. Early next morning she led the hobbled Hot Haste down the trail - homeward!- over that terribly rough rocky path! It took us until 12:30 that day to get them back to camp!
"Are things what they seem"? My sympathy for the poor mule
and her terrible fall has undergone something of a reverse.
