Bubb's Creek Trail.

Pinus momophylla - does not look like a pine on account of its solitary leaves. It had to me at first glance the appearance of some Australian tree with narrow leaves, or
reminds me of the Podocarpus things or even of Casuarina. I am familiar with Australian trees since childhood but not till now have I seen Pinus monophylla close at hand and living. Mr Stone says the trees look like apple trees - they are so low and branching and round-topped.
