His Journal, as published in the Companion to the Botanical Magazine, has been reprinted in the Oregon Historical Society's Quarterly, vols. 5 and 6 (1904 and 1905). The Journal of Dr. Scouler (which contains regerences to Douglas) is printed in vol. 6 (1905). - Brandegee, K. She had a keen collector's eye; one of her great finds was Sedum pinetorum Bdg. - Rosasco. Chestnut & Drew collected a number of things at this point. Berkeley to San Andreas Aug. 3, 1923. - Left Berkeley 5:30 a.m. ran to north side of Mt. Diablo and thru Clayton to the pass to headwaters Marsh Creek. Down Marsh Creek, past Dr. Marsh's old stone mansion built from country rock in Spanish-Californian days, to Old River. Near Old River collected nos. 10,028 to 10,032. No. 10,028. Lycopus americanus Muhl. Corolla white, 3 lobes of lower lip and single lobe of upper lip subequal. Lateral lobes lower lip laterally spreading. Upper lip not notched or lobed.
